NOWHERESVILLE2010 - Present

At peak operation, Bethlehem Steel was the second largest metals producer in the United States. The Empire State Building, Coney Island's Wonder Wheel, and the Chrysler Building are only a few landmarks built using steel forged at Bethlehem Steel's Pennsylvania ironworks.

The City of Bethlehem was a bustling company town - it's south side crammed with housing for the 31,000 men and women employed by the metal manufacturer.

In 1995, after 140 years of metal production in Eastern Pennsylvania, operations at Bethlehem Steel's sprawling 163-acre campus officially ceased.

This project is on-going.
